Need YOUR feedback....

M: To cut or not to cut? That is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to keep it long,
The wings and waves of outrageous hair,
Or to take scissors against a mass of brown locks,
And by opposing cut them...

...We need your help! Please send us your comments on John's hair follicle dilemma.Posted by Picasa

  1. Looing like this, he's OK. But looking like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/melanieandjohn/91922929/in/set-72057594054893794/ he needs a barber pronto.

  2. John do us all a favour and don't cut your hair (Joe and Kerrita also agree). That's three in favour. You look fabulous and true to your Greek origin. Helas!

  3. If you cut your hair no one in Leuven will ever respect you again. People in Flanders know style and the diplomats in Brussels have no clue. Take it from the Flemish, length does matter.

  4. Anonymouse:
John, the locks are great - maybe a little trim around the sides - perhaps a syle would be good. CAC (Curls Are Cute!) Mel will hate me for this I know - she talked about "your hair" at lot on her visit home.

  5. Je ne peux rater l’occasion de commenter sur un enjeu aussi crucial!

I say keep them long! It gives style and makes you look like a genuine intellectual. Plus, you will soon be able to develop the sexy moves of pushing them away from your face and maybe eventually putting them behind your ears. At that point though, pressure might grow to become less of an intellectual and actually start to learn playing Metallica rifts on an electric guitar. Difficult choices ahead of you John.

  6. To cut would be to remember your North American roots that demand the look of success be clean cut... to not cut would mean pure treason and the public pledge to Euro-ism forsaking your roots (no pun intended). Thant's my beef and I'm sticking to it.

  7. I think this is a good experiment...if your hair can grow without additional thining, then my assumption is that you will have hair well into your 40s and perhaps 50s...regardless, you are married, whether you have hair or not, shower or not, wear clothes inside out to avoid washing them its all good...Melanie still loves you!

  8. Not sure what all the fuss and debate is about. Obviously you should trim those nose hairs.

  9. John, as I have told you in the past, yours has been the most consistent of all hair styles. Through the eighties, nineties, and into the new millenium, your hair style has provided us with continuity, a feeling of moving forward without letting go of the past. Which is why during our last meeting, I was shocked to see that you have let it grow long in the back. Is this some kind of mid-thirties rebellion taking hold? In any case, I must object to this break with the past. I expect it to be thoroughly trimmed the next time I see you, or else, expect an unpleasant surprise during your sleep!
